IRCAD
A surgical institute’s web presence, designed in Figma and built in AEM.
I designed IRCAD’s website in Figma, from the pages to the components, and the final version was built in Adobe Experience Manager. I also designed wireframes for regional sites for Taiwan and China.
The challenge
IRCAD presents training, research and a network of institutes across the world to surgeons, partners and students. One site had to explain all of it clearly, and leave room for regional versions with different expectations.
Goal. A clear, credible site for international visitors that can grow into regional versions.
My role
- Designed pages and components in Figma
- Structured content: courses, innovation and research, the worldwide network of institutes
- Prepared the design for delivery in AEM
- Designed Figma wireframes for the Taiwan and China sites
How we got there.
Content & structure
Courses, research and institutes organised around visitor questions.
Design in Figma
Pages and reusable components.
AEM delivery
Final build in Adobe Experience Manager with the technical team.
Regional wireframes
Figma wireframes for the Taiwan and China sites (not published).
What it looked like.
What changed.
A consistent institutional website with an interactive map of the institutes, now live.
The recordings show the final pages on ircad.fr, captured on mobile. The Taiwan and China wireframes are not online.
What they said
“Every task, every project benefits from her full attention and perseverance, guaranteeing results that always live up to expectations.”
What I learned
Designing a site that has to travel taught me to separate what is global from what is local before drawing a single page.
