OMEDOM

Making property finance feel as simple as checking a balance.

OMEDOM is a finance-focused SaaS platform for property management that connects directly to users’ bank accounts. Serving both B2B and B2C users, it needed to stay secure without feeling like banking software.

The challenge

Property finance is dense: bank connections, payments, transactions, several properties and several kinds of users. The product had to feel trustworthy and secure while staying approachable, not like banking software.

Goal. Let owners and managers track money and complete payments with confidence in a few clear steps.

My role

  • Led user research and usability testing
  • Built wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for financial tracking, payments and property-transaction flows
  • Designed dashboards and responsive interfaces in Figma
  • Evolved the design system: components, variants and UI rules
Process

How we got there.

1

User research

Understood how B2B and B2C users manage property money today.

2

Usability testing

Tested early flows and fixed friction before build.

3

Wireframes

Structure for tracking, payments and transactions.

4

High-fidelity prototypes

Interactive prototypes of the key flows in Figma.

5

Design system

About 50 components with variants and clear UI rules: dark navy headers, mint actions and a warm palette for charges and trends.

I had the pleasure of working with Sabrine, an accomplished professional and a bright person who is a pleasure to collaborate with. Sabrine joined our team on a complex, already well-established project and quickly made it her own by identifying the right people to talk to. As a developer, my exchanges with Sabrine were always constructive. She is available and attentive, which makes solving problems much easier. Faced with challenges, Sabrine puts all her talent into finding solutions suited to the new constraints that arise. In short, I warmly recommend Sabrine as a teammate who is very pleasant to work with. She is also an available and willing collaborator, which makes her a valuable asset to any team. (Translated from French.)

What I learned

Security has to be felt, not announced. Clear status, plain language and predictable flows did more for trust than any badge.
